Fender Super Bassman, Bassman 100T Amps and Bassman Neo 410, 810, 610, 115 Cabs kick off a brand new Pro series of Bass amplification from one of the biggest names in the business. This awesome Pro range of amps and cabs will see its official launch at the 2012 Namm show, which starts next week.
First up is the Super Bassman, which delivers a monstrous 300 Watts from an all-tube head designed to fill the largest of venues. Fender Super Bassman comes loaded with a valve preamp, featuring two 12AX7s, and a valve power amp complete with one 12AX7, one 12AT7 and six 6550 tubes. The range of tones available is utterly stunning as the amp features various channels that cover all styles of playing, from vintage to overdrive.
The second amp in the all new Bassman Pro series is Bassman 100T, which features the same preamp as its bigger brother coupled to a power amp loaded with four 6L6 power amp tubes. Unique to Fender Bassman 100T is a rear-panel output power switch which allows for full 100-watt power, quieter 25-watt power, or 25-watt silent mode, where the Bassman 100T's internal power soak takes the heat.
Completing the all new line-up is a comprehensive range of Bassman Pro cabinets, which deliver power, articulation and classy looks. All cabinets feature Fender Special Design Eminence Neodymium speakers and a compression driver horn with attenuator. There are four cab configurations within the range, check out the specs below:
- Bassman 810 NEO: 8x10" plus horn, 4 Ohm, rated at 2000W program
- Bassman 610 NEO: 6x10" plus horn, 4 Ohm, rated at 1600W program
- Bassman 410 NEO: 4x10" plus horn, 8 Ohm, rated at 1000W program
- Bassman 115 NEO: 1x15" plus horn, 8 Ohm, rated at 700W program
The large NEO 810 and 610 cabinets feature rear glide rails, while the smaller cabinets come with removable caster wheels and spring-loaded handles. All cab and amp models come finished in classic mid-'60s Fender "Blackface" styling.
