Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster, HSS, Surf and 70's Models Released for Namm 2012. New additions to the highly popular Vintage Modified range of Stratocaster guitars were announced by Squier, which further expand this stunning range of instruments that combine classic styling with a retro feel.
Vintage Modified Stratocasters deliver extremely good value for money along with awesome cosmetics and features, which include numbered volume/tone controls, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and Duncan designed pickups loaded into a Basswood body. These new models also come fitted with a 9.5"radius fingerboard and a vintage tint gloss neck complete with 21 medium jumbo frets.
There are four new models within the Vintage Modified Stratocaster range. First up is the standard Vintage Modified Stratocaster, which is available in a choice of 3 colours including 3-Tone Sunburst, Black and Vintage Blonde. Vintage Modified HSS Stratocaster comes fitted with a Duncan designed bridge humbucker pickup for extra bite and tone. HSS Strats are also available in 3-Tone Sunburst and Black, with Charcoal Frost providing an interesting option.
Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster and Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster bring a couple of brand new models to this range. Surf Strats feature Tube Style pickups and bring in a 60s vibe. Modified Surf Stratocaster guitars are available in Surf green, Candy Apple Red and Sonic Blue. Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster guitars come with the distinctive look of the 1970s workhorse Fender, featuring black pickup covers and a choice of either Black or Vintage White.
