Fender CJ-290SCE jumbo acoustic electric guitars is the latest addition to the Classic Design range of acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars. Fender CJ290SCE guitars feature a solid spruce top and flame maple back and sides. Fender CJ-290-SCE electro acoustic guitars are fitted with Fishman electronics, ensuring the best amplified sound.
The Fender CJ-290SCE Jumbo Cutaway Acoustic / Electric Guitar has had a re-build for 2011. The newly upgraded CJ-290SCE projects a massive quality sound, add to that the new Fishman Presys pickup system and you have a guitar that sounds as good amplified as it does acoustically. Other upgrades are new tortoise shell pick-guard and abalone rosette design, new compensated rosewood bridge design, black bridge pins with abalone dots, mother-of-pearl Fender logo headstock inlay, smaller (3 mm) dot fingerboard inlays and gold hardware.
Features include scalloped X bracing, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, dual-action truss rod and Fishman® Presys™ pickup system with active on-board preamp, tuner, volume and tone controls and low-battery indicator light.
