PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 is an extremely powerful and flexible 24-channel firewire equipped mixer that follows on from the runaway success of the smaller StudioLive 16.4.2 digital mixer. PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 features an inbuilt firewire audio interface and supports 24-channel recording direct to PC or Mac. StudioLive 24.4.2 also features 24 high headroom XMAX microphone preamplifiers, which deliver pristine audio capture. Along with "Fat-Channel" processing with 4-band EQ's, compressors, limiters and gates, DSP effects, six aux buses, four sub-groups, extensive LED metering, mixer save and recall, channel-strip save/recall/copy/paste, talkback and more, PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 breaks new boundaries for music performance and production.

Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 makes the ideal front end for any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), and is extrmeley easy to operate. Each input is fed from either the mic pre/ line level input or from the fireiwire interface, as an output from a PC or MAC - it is just a case of selecting the appropriate button to control the input per channel!

Presonus Studio Live 24.4.2 comes bundled with PreSonus's new Capture 1.1 recording software for Mac OS X including OS X 10.6 and Windows including Windows 7. Designed primarily for live recording, Capture is preconfigured to record with the StudioLive, so all mixer channels are correctly routed to Capture tracks. Launch Capture, open a new session, click once to arm all tracks, click on Record, and you're capturing the audio from up to 32 channels and a stereo bus of your choice! It could not be simpler.

StudioLive 24.4.2 also comes with a free copy of PreSonus' groundbreaking Studio One Artist digital audio workstation software for Mac and Windows, which features unlimited track count, a full complement of PreSonus Native Effects plug-ins, and more than 4 GB of third-party resources. Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 Features:
